Cravings are cues from your body’s physiology sending signals that it does NEED something, but unfortunately, we have trained our bodies to associate that need with something that gives us an instant pick-me-up pop but does not address the actual deficiency (message) your body was trying to relay. Think of it as a code that got a bit jumbled up. For example, the chocolate craving could mean that your body is deficient in Magnesium, and your Thyroid needs support.
Sugar cravings could mean there is a deficiency with chromium, tryptophan, phsophorus, or sulfure.Craving bread, carbs or pizza/pasta for example, could mean that you are deficient in Nitrogene—and need higher protein foods—your adrenal glands may need support.
Finally, those salty chip munchers may need chloride or silicon, along with stress management techniques (especially after work—(crunchy foods often reveal this when other tests/data are collected). There are easy, non-invasive testing methods to look for these deficiencies, along with collecting foundational information regarding the person’s lifestyle habits.
